i have been full time since 1993 ?
at 8000 ft in April, the night time temp will drop FAST
not just 20* for 1hr, but for a large part of the night
use the furnace, keep your pipes and 'TANKS' from freezing
any frozen broken repairs, will cost more $$ than propane, or battery charging fuel, and will be a very big inconvenience to your trip
or go dry, winterize the TT, use minimal heat, no water, no toilet, no shower, pretend your in a canvas top PUP
until you come down to warmer temps
i've hiked up to places where there was snow pack at 8200ft in late July
no trees no shade just snow covered mountain top in the SUN
was camped at 5600ft among the trees and it was 30* that very same night in July
and this was in Calif
8000ft in Colorado and the Rockies !, you bet i'm going to burn that LP
