i'm not going to tell you how to stay warm, but about 15 miles west of the national park called san luis swa. free camping, fire ring, covered picnic table and free 30/50 amp service. downside- no water, but you can go to the national park and refill. senior pass-free, no senior pass- don't know, but it's cheaper than paying campground fees at the park.
