Strangely enough, I've seen some overhead A/C units advertising a separate dehumidifer to help with the fact that RV A/Cs tend to cool quicker than they remove humidity.
I picked up a very small one from Lowes that pumped the humidity out of my RV in minutes. Took up less space than a small ceramic heater. You had the choice of using a drain hose or removing it from a collection cup. First hour or so it took a lot of water out of the air and then after it caught up I only had to drain the cup once a day. MAde a BIG difference in how well my AC cooled the RV. Actually the only reason I bought one was after a mobile repair guy told me to buy one to help the AC while I was down in Florida.
