So wow...that is pretty wasteful, buring fuel or electricity to make heat and burning more electricity to make it cool.
It is a whole lot simpler to just adjust the temperature to where you feel comfortable...
If it's warm enough that you need AC, it's going to gradually remove humidity.
If it's cold enough that you need heat, it's going to gradually remove humidity.
I understand that you could be stuck with a comfortable temperature at which point you are also stuck with the humidity...but if you are comfortable- do you really need to have the AC directly fighting the heat and burning a bunch of everly more expensive energy?
