Hunting and Fishing
Does anybody use their rv as a home base to hunt or fish from while traveling across the country? Looks like it would be a great way to go where the hunting and fishing is good.

For several years I would double tow the boat to go fishing in TX each winter. I would spend a month in Del Rio and/or Zapata twice or three times a year. My cousin has a lake cabin in E. Tx and I would visit there also. A non-resident license was $55/year and I figure it worked out to about $.50/fishing day. Not counting fuel, and lost lures.
Now days with 2 grandsons in CA. I spend my summers fishing in the NM mountain lakes with a resident license costing $25 and go to CA to fish off of public piers for free in the winters.
