Hunting and Fishing
Does anybody use their rv as a home base to hunt or fish from while traveling across the country? Looks like it would be a great way to go where the hunting and fishing is good.

I don't hunt but I fish. I keep rods tackle and an inflatable raft in the MH. I have used it across country all the way up to Alaska. Alaska fishing licence was the most expensive $145/yr. Most states 3 day or one day licences were reasonable. My licence for Ct is free and has reciprocity with RI were I just fished and camped last week. Some NP's like Glacier you don't need a licence to fish others like Yellowstone are reasonable. If you camp in Tx state parks you don't need a licence to fish. I don't know of any states that offer seniors over 65 free licence for out of state folks, but that would be nice if anyone on here knows. It would be nice to have a national licence that covers all the states.
