Hunting and Fishing
Does anybody use their rv as a home base to hunt or fish from while traveling across the country? Looks like it would be a great way to go where the hunting and fishing is good.

I'm just back from a round trip to Montana where I was hunting. I was very comfortable in the MH and didnt have to worry about some motel not allowing my animals in the room. The MH is set up for the dogs and other critters I use on the trip. I organize my basement so that animal related items are stowed in specific places, usually not under a slide. I have a little 4x4 Vitara that I take with me. My only complaint about my set up is that the Vitara has a low ground clearnance and limited space. I have a 4x4 Tacoma at home which i typically use when home. My MH has a 5,000 lb limitation on towing, and the Tacoma can not be pulled 4 down. With that limitation, the MH is an awesome mobile hunting lodge.
