Kinda' neat how the slightly different way that everything looks with the higher sun angles casting shadows in a way that one would not normally see this late in spring with this amount of snow on the ground. But, it will melt fast!
Sure, snow is an inconvenience... but then again, it is not so bad. I guess it really depends on how you look at it.
There are days like this morning. Snow fell overnight to greet the waking of the morning with clear blue sunshine sky on the first day of this Memorial Day weekend. After blustery and cloudy days for a good part of the preceding week accompanied by whether forecast calling for several inches, the bright sun on the capped winter wonderland scenery makes spring snow almost worth it!
I caught the attention of the resident moose who was rummaging around seeking breakfast while I sipped coffee on my deck. With a very odd look in his eye, he turned toward me as if to almost ask what the hell is this white stuff doing on the ground this late in the year. I think he rather than me is more upset about it. Don't worry I nodded back, it will melt fast.
