Well I will take this in parts.
First: I use a portable Macerator (Flo-Jet) WHEN NEEDED,, Which is not often but yes I have pumped up hill and over extended distances where the 3" hose just did not work well.
Second part: Dirty hose and fittings.. You get that with the 3" hose too.
Finally the over use of fresh water.. Only with the sewer solution, not with electric powered types.
Finally the comment on lawyers and salesmen... Full agreement.
