I'm glad to read that other actual HA/PP owners have focused on the stingers as a difference maker between the 2 premium hitches.
While I loved the performance of my HA. I always disliked handling the stinger, simply because it was a bit heavy and greasy. Fast forward to the introduction of the PP which we now all know is basically the same hitch, only the stinger is even heavier!
I don't want to make a bigger deal out of the stinger than it is. In the grand scheme of the hitches it is a minor factor. Nevertheless if I were choosing between the 2 and all other factors were equal. I would go with the lighter stinger. For me the ability to adjust the stinger is less important than handling a heavier stinger each time you hook and unhook your TT.
