I got the best of Camping World today !

In the mail last week we received the camping world brochure with a coupon for 25 dollars - no minimum purchase. I have had one or two of these before and usually end up spending three times that amount when I redeem the coupon which of course is CW marketing strategy. Today we went and really didn't need anything but of course I wanted to 'spend' the 25 dollars. So we bought some cleaning supplies, a new toilet bowl brush and a collapsible bucket that I have wanted to have. Total bill 24.97. Thank you Marcus.

  • My comments perhaps should have read - that only cost CW $11.00...

They send a coupon with little to no restrictions.
$25.00 retail has a cost of approximately $11.00 (what CW paid to the vendor to purchase the wares).
Already, 6 people commented (how many others read it).
Seems like their marketing plan is working.

    Everybody is happy right?

Curious how you arrived at that total. How much $ did you figure for the "cleaning supplies"?

It's true. I googled "cleaning supplies, a new toilet bowl brush and a collapsible bucket" and got a price of $11.

But my results kept coming to this thread. It is now on the internet so it must be true.
  • Would have cost me $25 for fuel to make the round trip to the nearest CW. Walmart is 3 blocks away. Cheaper there also.

  • I love a freebie when I can get it.

and you didn't spend the 'usual 3 times more' on this trip.

    cool deal!!!
  • And for him, whether $25 or $11, he got it for free. Why not spread it around?
  • Those items cost somewhere in the neighbourhood of $11.00 and then you wrote about it... I didn't receive the coupon, but just read your advert for CW. Their marketing worked!
