Are you talking about the "new" model? Our Fantastic Fan in our 11 year old TT is basically silent when on low speed.

They're a must - I replaced the AC in my unit with one when I bought it. I recently ordered a second and installed it in the bathroom.

One complaint: They changed their motor supplier. My old fan has a tallish, can-shaped motor that makes a pleasant low pitch hum when running. The new fan has a much smaller, flattish motor that makes a higher-pitched whine when running.

Both work wonderfully - I just wish they hadn't changed motor styles.

I installed one with the t-stat feature and it works great. Our BR only has a window on the side wall and doesn't let much of a breeze through. I turn the FF on low speed and it quietly creates a nice refreshing but gentle breeze in the room. Then it shuts itself automatically in the early morning hours after the air has cooled off.
We use it every might.

Agree..works great...heck, we can turn the one on in the living room and it'll draw a breeze through the windows in the bedroom...very efficient...(5er is 37' inside diminsions).

Love them...My 5er came with 3 in it. One in living room, one in bedroom and one in bathroom...5er is 8 yrs old and we've never had an issue with any of them.

I installed one in my class C, and transferred it to my then new Class A 16 years ago! They still all work. I installed two more, one with a rain sensor. I like the rain sensor one the least, as it has a super noisy motor to open it, and it will close automatically if the humidity is really high, or if some rain gets under the Maxx air cover, and onto the rain sensor.

I usually leave the fan in the bathroom on 'auto' and set the thermostat for about 80F, so it will vent the RV and keep the dogs cool.

In the bedroom, I installed a really simple one, without thermostat, and it works great too!

Fleetwood provided power to each roof vent location, only the bathroom had a power vent factory installed, that was about useless.

I think the point is to exhaust that which is turning the bathroom green BEFORE it leaks into the coach. You sure don't want to be pulling it into the RV on purpose...

I also like my FF. One is more than adequate for me.
Mine is in the bathroom and used to move air out only.

We're very please with our Fantastic Fan in the bathroom too.

I meant bed room in my post but our TT also came with one in the bath. I put a timer on it so it runs for a while after we shower and dries the room out. Does a great job in there too.

I've had several Fantastic Fans in the past with good luck, last motorhome I put in a MaxxAir with variable speed and actually liked it a bit more since the speed was continuously variable, you can dial the speed down to really slow if needed. Recently with my 3rd motorhome acquisition, it had a Fantastic fan in the bedroom but a standard, noisy Ventline with the tiny 6" fan blade in the bath. I purchased a Vortex vent conversion and modified it by adding a 12V motor speed controller (ebay $5) and it works nearly as well as the Fantastic or MaxxAir for about $50. It can now be slowed down like the MaxxAir. Fantastic uses resistors to achieve the 3 speeds which is not as efficient as a variable speed electronic controller.
Adding the 12v speed controller is very straightforward for any fan, here is the one I used: www.ebay.com/itm/231098212128
