Wow, sorry but exact opposite opinion here.
I installed one with the t-stat feature and it works great. Our BR only has a window on the side wall and doesn't let much of a breeze through. I turn the FF on low speed and it quietly creates a nice refreshing but gentle breeze in the room. Then it shuts itself automatically in the early morning hours after the air has cooled off.
We use it every might.

We're very please with our Fantastic Fan in the bathroom too.

My rig came with one in the bathroom, but like the other poster said, don't flush with the fan on; that can make you light headed!

I'm going to add one, maybe two more. I have regular vents in the rear living room and in the front (bedroom) so the holes are already cut.

Look before you purchase
Some of the newer low priced Fantastic fans use a smaller cheaper motor
The last one I installed uses the same motor as the Endless Breeze uses

Easy enough to add more. Our fiver had a Fantastic Vent in the kitchen/living area and the good old vent with mini fan in the toilet area. We replaced the toilet one with a FF and had our dealer cut a new hole over the bed for a third one.

All three have temp control and rain sensors, although the bedroom one also has a cover so we can keep it open in the rain. Any night over 50 degrees and that fan is running!

Yep, I'm going to add more when I get around to it!

The only bad thing about them, is that they overpower the black water vent pipe and suck bad smells from the toilet when flushing. I've learned to turn it off momentarily when flushing, and then on and all is good.

I much prefer the MaxxAire fan that has the motor/blades out and aimed down in the housing. you can leave it open/on all the time and no rain gets in. noise is also moved away from opening.
