Others know more about going to a dually but it certainly seems like you need a 3500. If you do go 3500 pay attention to the payload rating. Don't feel too bad about the reaming as many others have gone before you. Go trade in a lease vehicle less than a year old and see how they beat you. :) Yes, you can get out of any lease, you just have to throw fists full of money at it.
