Somebody previous has a rigid hitch, and they modified the pin box to prevent binding. However since your hitch pivots, you have 2 pivots now and that is a no-no for any hitch setup. Do yourself a favor a at least look into cushioning pin boxes when you swap it out. Even a simple one like the Mor-Ryde will greatly reduce the "chucking" that occurs with some trailers.
