When we arrived at the shop, there was a fella from a different insurance company present. He injected himself into the convo. He said it was a delam from heat shrinkage, as the whole camper shell appeared to have "sucked up" very hard onto the framing causing the new recaulking to fracture when any mvmt or pressure was present, basically anytime it moved. It was noticable all over the camper, ESPECIALLY when it was hooked up to the truck ( increased pressure on the structure.) But who knows what happened. I don't know it all. Just know it hadn't seen the light of day in 3 years, and I know what old musty water smells like, and there was never an indication of water intrusion....I would've immediately fixed it.
