It would damage the RV moving it to the barn but they OK'd moving it 6 miles to the shop ? Covering it with a tarp doesn't require moving the RV.
It seems that the OP gets very defensive whenever anyone suggests that they may have some partial or total responsibility for the additional damage. This may end up being a very expensive lesson.
