I need some purchasing tips.

Well, i am preapproved on 2 different campers, from two different dealerships.
Well, one of them is the 377se raptor. The other is a roadwarrior 400rw.

Now, im 3000 away from purchasing the road warrior and im 1000 away from purchasing the raptor.

They wont budge one inch. Not one. You would think they would have 1000 dollars they could etither add on my trade in, or remove off the price. I know the road warrior is a bit more money off, but they know im preapproved and ready to go.

Is there anything i can do to get them to go?? Our last conversations were, im sorry we cant come to a deal, call me if you guys change your mind. That was on tues. Still no call....
Any tips on getting a bit more out of them???

I would shop around and get the lowest price. You can do a lot of shopping on the internet. Print it out and get them to match it. They more then likely will.

Well, Tacoma Rv in Fife Washington's famous motto is that they dont match pricing. They give you their lowest price and thats it. ZERO negotiating.

    There lowest price was 53k.
I found it for 49k online in a couple places.

Get a quote from RVwholsalers.com and RVdirect.com. At least you will know what you could theoretically buy it for and use that as leverage. That's what I did and got a local dealer to match their price.
  • Well I don't really know what to say to get them down more. I don't know the MSRP or where you are at now. I really don't need to know, but I can tell you that you may have already driven them down to the lowest price they will take. If you are at their bottom dollar price, you may never hear from them again. At some point they think they have made you a good offer, and if you don't take it someone will shortly. Camping season is approaching fast and other buyers will buy it if the price is right. If you don't hear anything after about 5 days, chances are you have their best price at this time. You may get a better price at the end of the season if it sits on the lot that long. Good luck.
  • Don't be afraid to travel if you can save big $'s.

We bought our rig in San Diego after local dealer in Reno would not deal...and we bought a new TT from them a few years back.

Saved $7K...well worth the trip we thought.

    Good luck....

If you can find a large RV show the prices will surprise you. We did this and bought from Camping World and had it delivered to a local CW store. The local store treated us like we bought it there. Great price and good service. Worked for us.

So, if i find one on camping worlds website in oregon, they will deliver it to Washington state??

  • Shop around and if you get the deal you want, decide if it is worth the drive for the savings. This time of year in our area anyway you get the show pricing and there isn't much movement from there.
