The way you make money in the extended warranty business is to take in money and pay very little out in claims. Simple math and business model.

The problem with these 3rd party warranty companies is they go out of business every two weeks then often pop back up under a different name. I read an article on these companies several years ago that claimed 18 out of the 24 major companies at the time had gone out of business in the last 2 years. Cancel the contract if you can.
