OK, I watched the video and this guy is all wet. When I first saw this cleaning solution it was simply to clean the tank leven sensors, not to sanitize the entire black tank. My senors read full all the time. So my responses:
1) he had a small homemade tank with stuff he made that may or may not accurately resemble the stuff in a black tank (except for the toilet paper).
2) he started out with just the ice cubes and a little water. As the ice melted it became more mobile and cleaned a bit more.
3) with the tank above the rear axle of his truck the movement of the tank is no where near that of a black tank in a trailer.
When I tried this I used 21 pounds of ice in about 10 gallons of water and drove on a curvy,up and down mountain road for a couple hours (at reasonable speed for the road and conditions and not like an crazy man). When I got home and dumped the tank level sensors worked like new.
