- K_CharlesExplorerWhen you think it's time to winterize just head north, you'll get ice in the gray tank.

Ice cubes are a waste of time and money. For the grey tank - if you don't dump garbage, grease or coffee grounds down the drain all you'll have is dishwater and shower water - no clumps to worry about.
For the black tank just use plenty of water when flushing. Easy. We don't use chemicals - another waste of money.

Other wise I think your wasting your time. - jmtandemExplorer IIDon't waste your time trying to put ice cubes in either gray or black tanks. They don't work.
- dewey02Explorer III've heard of taking cold showers, but you must really need to cool down fast!;)
- rwbradleyExplorerIt does not work in the Black tank, TheFitRV did a really good video on it a while back, look for it on Youtube. Not sure it would help your grey tank either. If it needs a really good cleaning, try using dishwasher detergent, go for a drive, than dump. It does not bubble, and it is designed to break down the type of dish related grease and food particles that end up in the grey tank.
- korbeExplorerNever found a need to break up solids in the gray tank.
