Ice makers
I see those little ice makers at Sam/Cosco for around $100. Are they worth buying and how good is the ice?

My DW bought one the other week. I've tried it out, and think we could just as well have bought a few plastic ice trays. It makes ice, not hard frozen, and you then have to remove it and put it in your freezer. It may be ok to make a batch of ice, but it is not the same as an ice maker you may be used to in your freezer.
