Ice makers
I see those little ice makers at Sam/Cosco for around $100. Are they worth buying and how good is the ice?

we had a "ice-N-easy" for 6yrs, i think we wore it out, used it every few days, the whole time we had it. loved it, but it was heavy, left it on the floor and covered it when not using it
replaced it last summer with a slightly smaller much lighter model labeled Emerson, it takes a few more cycles to get up to full size, takes a little longer on the first few cycles, but it is smaller, more square, flap on top, easier to store
we make a couple of one gallon bags, full, put it in the freezer
when we run low we make more before we run out, so we always have enough cold HARD ice
we wouldn't be with out one, we like them
