Yep ... that's right.
When I bought our RV, Winebago literature said it had an 18 gallon propane tank in it. Propane suppliers actually fill it with 14.5-15.0 gallons of propane if it is completely empty when I have them fill it. My BBQ also has a 5 gallon propane tank on it.
That pounds-of-propane thing is confusing. Stick with gallons. Whatever the tank will hold in gallons when full means it should be filled to no more than about 80% of that in propane.
