Even if one has no federally or state taxable income, state dependent, the average person pays roughly 15% of what they spend in taxes. Those come in the form of sales taxes, use taxes (such as on fuel of any kind) and utility taxes on every single bit of energy one consumes. You are paying taxes on the internet connect that you are using and the power that supplies it.
