Another reason to finance an RV, is to avoid the tax man. You stash money in your IRA and 401K for 40 years, for the day you retire. If you pull out a lump of $200K, all at once, to buy that diesel pusher, the tax man will kill you. Spread it out over several years, and you'll pay the bank a lot less than the tax man would want for that big withdrawal.
