- Don_SharExplorerWow the frac team is coming in. I filled 4 log pages Sunday, 4 Monday and 3 Tuesday. I already have two today. Not complaining because when they are done it will be the end of May before the drill team comes back and Swift said they want us to stay here, a crew is coming in to clear ground and make a pad for #7 & #8, in about two weeks.
They should be starting the Frac process tomorrow and be out by Sunday. They moved everything including sand over the past 4 days. The food has started already, last night we got Ham & Turkey deli sandwiches, lunch today was very large cheeseburgers, dinner tonight we will see. Goodby diet. - mdbassExplorerHave a job opening starting Friday in Louisiana (close to the Texas border.) Must be a couple. Pays $175/day. 24hr. NO SECURITY LICENSE REQUIRED. This morning was very productive. I saw two more rattlers, didn't kill them just let them go their own way.

Nice to see you let them be. Live and let live. - LeathercrafterExplorerJust wanted to take a moment and recognize a couple of gate guards. They are Charles and Donna Taylor. They're on a gate adjacent to CR192, just south of Gonzales.
We had our torque converter on our truck blow and we had driven it to the dealer in Gonzales. This happened right as we were setting up at a new gate. Donna graciously offered to come pick me up and bring me back to the trailer, which was about 5 miles south of them along CR192. They then checked on us every couple of days and offered to take us into town whenever was necessary. And they took us into town when the truck was finished/repairs completed a week later.
Thanks so much, Charles and Donna. Your help was greatly appreciated. - The_TexanExplorer

Samsung has issued a letter stating their fridge will run on a MSW inverter, so a full 10kw or 20kw generator with PSW output is no problem. Yes, you have a 50a output on the generator and it will run everything with NO problems. We have a 2.5kw MSW inverter, a solar system and our batteries are also replenished by the alternator while driving, so there is NO need for the generator while traveling. You will NOT have any problem, other than a cold fridge and frozen ice cream, if you come down here and do the gate guard gig with a residential fridge. The Texan wrote:
Had a new rig go in 200 yds west of us yesterday, H&P 468, with their own gate. Now we will get a lot of "lost" souls, as we just did, going to the rig....:B.
We are taking 4-5 days off, starting Tue, as our fridge is dying and we have a new Samsung residential fridge to get installed. Jamie said he would get a temp here for us and we would come back to our same gate, sure hope so.
Had a quick, heavy downpour yesterday, so we are back on waterfront property for a few days. Our frogs did not return though....
How is the residential fridge going to work out there. Are you on 24/7 generator? 50amps?
We replaced our Nevercold with a Samsung and have been very happy with it but we are always on shore power. When we do move we run the gender a couple of hours. Seems to hold temp good. We were afraid we had tricked ourselves out of being able to gate guard. - firedocExplorer

I know how you feel Texan. We have a gate right beside us that gets a lot of traffic....we get very little at night, but just when we get good and sound asleep our bell goes off....really you need the next gate not here. - Don_SharExplorer
