Information Discussion for Gate Guards

Repreive..... The company man called Huston and told them we were very busy here and they needed a gate guard on duty. I called Roger this morning and asked him what was up, we were almost done packing when the company man stopped us.Roger said he would call us back. We will be staying on this gate till next Thursday, then Swift is closing it. Question from the company man was why....Pipeline crew is in here, Starting next week on a new pad for #77#8 wells, the drilling rig will be back in about two weeks. Well looks like we will be moving next Thursday.

I smell a rat....has happened before. Someone has a friend that wants your gate and they won't be truthful about it. I know at least one other GG being told the same thing by Roger and that was what happened. Tell your company man to be firm or they will steam roll you.

Well here we sit hanging in Limbo.....Roger of GGS called us this morning and said Swift wanted to close this gate tomorrow. We still have the Coil Roll here, back flow people are coming in , and swabbers are due in. The Swift Co men (3 of them) here today told us not to pack up we were not going anywhere, still haven't heard from Roger, last he said was we were moving tomorrow. Guess we will get all packed up and ready....then have to unpack if we stay. Does anybody

Anyone on this forum the gate guards at the Herring Ranch gate, on FM 1042 with H&P 468 Flex Rig?

Fracing is done...they started moving out today, now for the flow back team, and we made it and are still alive. Our last dinner catered in today was Philly Cheese Steak. Most were gone when the caterer got here so he left us enough to have lunch on and put some in the freezer and still give a good helping to our two neighbor gate guards.

Well, they found the tool, and now they are downing the rig and moving out. Now we will have a week or so until we start all over with crew that comes in after fracking and cleans out the plugs, etc., then we will only be about 1 1/2 months behind!!! Oh, well, gives us job security! :C

So...we leave the end of May and not sure where these 3 wells will be by then. Other problems also but job security is nice!!!

Thank Swift Energy and Border Lease for the rain, so dry and dusty with the wind blowing a person with allergies can hardly walk outside, but it has rained here morning and evening every other day for this whole week.

Got to like this frac team, last night we had fried chicken dinner. Don't know what today will bring besides lots and lots of sand trucks.

Setting in San Antonio at Iron Horse RV, getting the fridge changed out to a residential model, plus other items fixed while we're here. The fridge is done and boy what a difference. The new window awning is installed and tomorrow the work continues.
