Installing Black Tank Flush

I am going to install a Tornado black tank flush kit to my black tank. I have installed one before on a different trailer and ideally you want to install the flush in the rear of the tank so it pushes forward to the drain side of the tank. On this trailer however I am not able to access the rear of the tank but I can access the side.

Question. Should I install the flush in the center of the tank? The spinning action should reach the rear and front of the tank or should I install it more toward the rear of the tank?

that would depend on whether you had a clean shot at the black tank, no elbows etc.

Another demo showed that to better clean the Tank using a built in flush one has to flush the Tank several times by shutting off the outlet valve, adding water to the Tank, then opening the valve to carry out the `stuff'.
  • I think I would put it towards the rear, maybe 2/3 of the way???????????
