Hi All,
Looking at insurance for a travel trailer, and I got to wondering. Comprehensive is pretty clear, something happens while it is sitting there and it is covered according to the policy.
However, collision doesn't make any sense to me for a trailer. If I have an accident while towing, it's covered under the tow vehicle policy, so when would collision every apply to a trailer?
Thanks in advance,
Rob
Your auto policy won't pay for any damage to the trailer, thus the need for insurance on the trailer. If you total your trailer while towing, or otherwise damage it, the trailer insurance comes in handy.
