In my car, I've driven the interstates at 10 over, passing the cars on the inside lanes and have had lots of people tailgate me because I'm 8-10 car lengths behind the car ahead of me and not 1-2 car lengths. This is in medium to heavy traffic on a multilane interstate.
The problem with these folks is there's no speed fast enough. If I was driving 25 over, they still would tailgate.
I won't change lanes if I'm passing the other traffic.
Funny thing is, once they go around me, they start tailgating the other guy, etc., etc..
