Maybe the new self-driving cars will stop the tailgating ... especially since it will be the 20's/30's-something-types buying and using these potentially absurdly dangerous automobiles. :B
This new self-driving trend I'm reading about is scaring me to death more than ANYTHING ELSE you might see on the Interstates, highways, and city streets ... whether you're in or driving an RV or otherwise. Imagine a circuit failure, or mechanical switch/solenoid failure, or other small mechanical part failure in these systems!!! :E
Thank goodness, the rural highways and roads that we like to RV on may never see these self-drive systems - since their computer control algorithms will depend upon roads with predictable structures along each side.
