We most often drive the back-roads and secondary roads, and dirt roads and off-roads. We're happy to see all the drivers that like interstates, because it leaves the rest to us.
We pull over as a courtesy (or as a safety measure) when we get traffic behind us because we camp to see the country, not to see the Interstates.
Some interstates are beautiful, and when we need it, we use it ... we drive safely, and enjoy the scenic byways and any place we find. we try to extend the courtesy to other drivers that we expect ourselves whenever we can.
Lucky for us, we're semi-retired, and we plan our trips according to our schedule ... and we allow plenty of time between destinations ... Happy travels to all you campers !! Enjoy it while you can ... especially with fuel at the price it is now. :) :) :)
