Inverters

I purchased this 2000 watt Pure Sine invert-er from Invertersrus, $279.00. I sleep with a CPAC breathing machine, and did not want to run my generator all night. My 2 12 volt batteries read 12.7 volts. I ran my satellite dish with TV for 6 hours and my CPAC machine for 8 hours. When i got up i rechecked the voltage of my batteries and they read 11.9 volts. did not even loose a full volt in that period. The next day while traveling I put a 3 lb chuck roast in my crock pot with carrots, potatoes, 3-1/4ed onions, water an 2 packs of Lipton onion soup and plugged it into the invert-er. 4 hours later we stopped at a Kmart. When I walked out of Kmart and would not have had to see my Motor home. I could smell my way back to it. Boiled off baby backs while driving and put them on the grill one evening.
Your meal is being made while your driving.
I love it.

  • nice for the crockpot

but 11.9v is under the 50% SOC for most (if not all) RV batteries
be sure to bring them back to full charge before starting the next nights use cycle, you can't be doing 80-90% recharges with that kind of overnight use, or your going to significantly shorten the useable life

you don't need 2000w for any of the listed use

my average load is less than 200w
laptop, TV, portable fans, heat pad (for my back) etc..
but because i like my late night bacon snack
i need a large inverter for the MW

with out the MW bacon, 400w would be more than enough
