IRS selling a 40c Fleetwood

Riven1950 is correct. Do not listen to rumors. Especially from RV Lawyers. Read the fine print, and if you're not sure, do your due diligence.

No need to be defensive. I was only pointing out that one needs to be careful and be certain of what you bid on.

The real estate deal was fact, not opinion or rumor. I did my due diligence, went to the IRS office and discussed it with them. Anyone wanting to bid on an IRS seized vehicle should do the same.

AGAIN, I am telling you DO NOT listen to rumors and opinions...each sale is / may be different...this ain't Real Estate which is mentioned above...like comparing apples / oranges.

Call them and if interested and then go on inspection day and ask more ?? in person. I have bought several gov't vehicles, some with the actual title, several only had a bill of sale type form ( because the Gov't bought them new and they don't normally title their vehicles )which DMV accepted and issued me a title. They will tell you what paperwork you will receive the you can verify with your DMV if it is ok. Not rocket science.

FYI--- The wording about the liens is a standard disclaimer. I have bid on cars before and what you bid is what you pay. No other lien to pay off.

I suggest interested people call the contact number and ask directly and verify this, but it is correct. Others are misleading you if they say you have to pay a mystery lien off in addition to your bid. Also, the contact person is usually the one who took the pics and may answer some condition questions for you too. They are usually very helpful.

This is an interesting note. Sounds like if there is still a loan secured by the asset it may survive the auction.

Rare breed. First year production and one of the few with rear radiator and 330 ISC. There are a bunch of other differences but mostly cosmetic or appliance positioning, water heater etc.

You'll be bidding against dealers at first, unless the reserve is too high.
