Don't get worked up over this, the poster likes to phrase things so people tend to get worked up over them. :) Not a real/complete troll, but trollish. :)Supercharged wrote:
I think maybe if you drive a motorhome at 70 you are safe, but pulling anything behind it is not safe.
why do you say that? what happens to you at 1-second after midnight on your birthday? I know old guys who are 50 and young guys who are 80. age is just a number. i'll be 70 in 4-years and if I'm in the same shape I'm in now i'll be towing something behind our class A. I also fly small planes...should I automatically give that up when I turn 70? at some point in my life I know i'll have to give up motorhoming, towing and general aviation but it won't be on some magical birthday. - rk911Explorer

I agree 70 is too much... drop it down to 60 or 65 MPH ;)

I'm 73 year old now, driving a 29 ft. Ford 450 MH. but thinking of pulling a car next year. Carry a 400 Honda along now on the rear.Supercharged wrote:

For someone who does not say how old he is, what he is towing and with what nor does he say why he is asking the question, he isn't supplying much information to get a good troll going.

- kalynzooExplorerPulling a 70 year old toad might be a problem, it should probably be in or on a trailer.....Age is relative. Some people should not be driving at 50, some should never drive. I have met 80 year olds who drive just fine.

I saw another thread this week where someone asked if you had mellowed. I bet you just started this thread to prove you're still crusty. That opening line is designed to offend some people. - Chuck_thehammerExplorermy friend rode his motorcycle till 81. it Health, vision, reflexes.
