Actually if you look at the front tire the shadow is closer then behind it. I would say the sun was almost overhead. If it was Photoshop you would see sunshine between the frame rails of the truck in the shadow. I would speculate this is a genuine redneck creation.

The left side shadow is straight. The roof on the 5th wheel is not straight.
Then there is the mirror shadow on the right cab door at a backward angle.
The shadow on at the left front shows the sun would be slightly to the rear.
And, why does the whole rig look so narrow?
I'm sticking with Photoshop. :)
