Most of the time we only stay one night and don't have reservations, so I could care less if they have a website as long as I can find them. Stayed at a very reasonable and nice campgrounds in southern Indiana a couple of years ago, that we found by luck after striking out on a couple of closed and non existing campgrounds (or we were lost) and we were several hours beyond where we wanted to stop. Pulled in and found a "be back in 30 minutes sign", I hate them since I don't know how long they have been gone. Came back to the truck to see if the wife wanted to keep going and this little old lady with a cane came out of the house next door to the office. I would guess she was in her late 80s or possibly 90s. She said her kids had run into town but could take care of me. We eventually got into the office (didn't move to fast) and I told her we just needed one night. I ask her if they had WiFi and she asked what that was, I said it is a computer thing, she said we don't do computers. Ok, I pull out a credit card, she says we don't do credit cards but will take cash or a check, I say we are from NY she said didn't matter. I then ask how much, $20 for full hookup with shade. So I handed her $20 and she pulls out one of those big ledger books and handwrites in the info. Was a great end to a bad afternoon.
