DH and I heard, and read some scathing reviews on a CG near to where we had been staying at another CG. The reviews had us so curious we took a drive to check it out.
The campground itself was somewhat 'rustic', however the campsites were beautiful, well-maintained, wooded and the whole place was clean and well-run. There is no fancy playground with bouncy things, but there is a heated indoor pool (also very clean - as are the bathhouses).
We were so impressed with the friendliness of the owners, we stayed there a few times and finally decided to take a seasonal site.
Oh, and they don't have a website but they DO have Facebook page that is maintained throughout the year, even when they're closed.
