I just purchased an extended warranty from Cornerstone thru Wholesale Warranties as I got tired of paying for repairs on a 13 y/o DP. I paid $3K for a 4 year warranty. When we got the MH in 2010,I paid for a professional inspection and except for a couple of very minor items,it passed with flying colors. I even followed the inspector and watched as he did the inspection.Oh and I am a school bus driver and so know what he's looking for.
I took the advice of several folks on this forum and put the money,$4K,I had set aside for a warranty in the bank. Oooppss, the first three problems cost me $10k,all of which would have been covered by the warranty and would have cost me $300 in deductible.
I would not buy a warranty on a new rig till the existing factory ones run out. Also, make sure you send in the registrations that you find in the owners manual, etc.I had a friend that didn't and had several warranty problems that they wouldn't cover.
