I had an extended warranty (now expired) on my initial purchase but never used it. It cost around $2,300 when we purchased. If you buy one, be sure to understand what is NOT covered and who the authorized service centers are.
I prefer to bank the money and have my own RV repair/upgrade fund that I can use any way I want.
