Is there a type of insurance that covers this?

I got some bad gas. Repairs were $750, cheap motel for a week was another $750 (shop would not let me stay in my RV). Cancellation fees at parks I had reservations at were $200. Total $1700.

I was disappointed that none of this was covered by my auto insurance. Is there some kind of travel insurance that would have helped?

If you could prove who sold you the gas that caused the damage, you may consider to go in that direction.

Go to where you got the gas. They should pay!

I think I'de be more upset about a $750 bill to drain out the bad gas!!!

It's nothing more than draining the tank and a new filter.

It's generally covered by your auto insurance even though your didn't.
You might talk to your state Ins. Commisioner to see if they should have paid for the damage.
