I think I have tried everything and the best is a regular cheap trap with peanut butter.BUT, I got sick of seeing them get into the fiver so I spent some serious time looking for how. I finally came up with the fact that the square tubing that hold up my slide (only one slide, 2 pieces of tubing) were hollow and that was how the rodents where getting into the area under the floor. Then they were getting into the camper proper thru spaces around the water pipe and heat duct. I shoved in some steel wool and then foamed the tube shut with great stuff and in the last 3 years I have not had mice. I still have traps set in in case.
