It costs the Park more for the Tenter than the RV owner.....
The RV owner also used water and sewer, He likely used electric too, lots of it, v/s very little for the tenter (if any)
Tenters normally occupy short term sites, Usually on short term sites electricity is included.. RV's may be on short or long. But again on short, Power is usually included.. Electricity can be expensive. Some campgrounds have one rate for the basic site, one for 30 amp, and another for 50 (Which I'm happily paying now) I will make good use of that 50 amps though.
Some charge by the air conditioner.
So, consider the light bill.
Now: I will tell you of one RVer I spotted one day:
Pulled in around 8 pm or so After the park office closed.. Whole family of 'em (like 7) Used park showers, Topped off fresh water tank, Used electricity and dump station (State park on on-site sewer) and left about 7am (Office opened at 9).
What do you think of those folks?
(Park manager came in at 5:30 and took down their license plate by the way)
