Yeah, I know, everyone is different. I've never figured out thwe ones who have a nice big unit with a fully functioning shower & head who go trotting off, sometimes in the cold towels etc. in hand, to use the CG. Facilities. Eight years & literally hundreds of different CGs & we have yet to use a CG shower. Using a CG restroom is almost as rare.
Get water from somewhere once a week otherwise nope, we don't bother hook it up.
As a rule don't ask for & don't hook up to the sewer either. Make a dump visit somwehere every 4 days or so.
We know how to reverse so never ask for a pull through. Most of the time we would be happy with a tent site, if only it were long enough & maybe had 30A though we know how to survive on 20A using careful power management.
The CG owner I chatted with said that he would love to charge more for tenters & complained about how often they trashed his bathrooms. No small expense in labour daily to clean up after them.
Maybe he is in the wrong business. Wonder how he knows it was tenters, and not RVers? As I said. IF he is too cheap to offer full hookups. I promise you. Many folks in RVs were using the bath house as well. Lots of campers don't like to go to the dump site. It's usually pretty nasty.
