There is no right or wrong here.
IMHO there is a right or wrong...if the price is what I am willing to pay I pay it and stay. If the price is wrong for me I just move on. I could give a flying flip what others pay.
LOL Exactly. If I'm willing to pay to stay, I do - if the price doesn't suit me, we move on.
This reminds me of our family reunion..... When we were kids, my dad's family had a reunion every summer. Seven siblings - with dozens of grandkids. They would get several turkeys and roast them, and get punch. Everyone brought a covered dish - side dishes and desserts. The price of the turkeys and drink was added up and divided per family. It came to like $2 per family. Even back in the 60's, where could you go and eat all day long (with your family) -- 2 full meals, plus nibbling all day - for $2???
It got to where some of them were fighting about $2. It wasn't "fair" because we only have one kid, and you have seven kids and we still both pay $2. It progressed to everyone packing their own picnic lunch to go, and then taking just a dessert to be shared. Eventually they stopped having the reunion altogether.
Same general premise as the OP presented here with relation to camping in an RV vs a tent. So I guess if you don't like it being unfair, you can quit.
