I think the best way to figure out if the price of ..56.00 US is reasonable if to find out the cost of nearby hotels and motels in the same time frame. Wonder what permanently setup campgrounds run for in nearby provincial and municipal parks?
You also have to factor in less transportation costs getting around the town since you are already there.
Finally I haven't heard anything about the cost of re-sodding the grass when the event is over. In NYC, when performers like Urban, Simon and Garfunkel, etc have a concert in the park, you and I many not have to pay see it but the artist's company sure pays for setup, clean up and yes much of the re-sodding costs.
I'd pay 56 US nightly to stay there for a special event.
I think it would be nice if the gov't would be able to set aside some lower cost sites for citizens but I don't live in that place's pocketbook;).
