I'm a little upset with my city today.
Is this a new service for this year? If not, what was charged in the past? If this is a new service, what was done in the past for campers?
It certainly does sound high to me. I certainly wouldn't pay for it. I certainly would be complaining about similar high prices in my home town. The town I grew up in holds their 4th of July celebration on the 3rd of July to save money on overtime for emergency services and other town employees that would be working that evening. I think it is outrageous especially considering the average cost of property taxes in the town is about $8,000/year. I do complain about it, but I don't live there anymore.
I don't know how Canadians are, but I know Americans would certainly make a mess of those parks. These are parks being turned into temporary campgrounds. I'm sure there is a big expense involved. If you don't like it, don't pay it. What did you do in the past?
