Well here's the deal.......
Truck has 3610# payload
Subtract 200# 5vr hitch.....3410# payload
Subtract 'wet pin' (dry is 2485#) of 2900#.......510# payload
Now subtract ALL Passengers weight, any stuff in bags/packs that are in truck, all the little junk that goes in door pockets, console, glove box, under the seats
Payload is going to get ate up quickly
Now how about those rear tires? What is MAX Load Rating at Max PSI?
Rear axle weight plus payload.......tires up to it?
As for that MFG. MAX TOW rating of 15,950#....hehehehe
You will run out of trucks GVWR, Payload and RAWR (maybe tires) LONG before you will ever reach that MAX TOW RATING......it is a magical marketing number achieved by the use of 'fine' print with caveats blah, blah, blah
Actually it's the first of the big three to use the SAE j2807 tow rating spec. Which is longer blah blah blah. But a specific set of guidelines to determine the tow rating. Now it may be to high for some, particularly those who expect an empty feeling when towing, but at least it's standard.
