Good grief..
Why does everyone EXPECT insurance companies to cover EVERY mundane possible scenario in life???
Truth is they DO NOT COVER EVERY SCENARIO POSSIBLE..
The things they will not cover typically are "an act of God"..
My Homeowners insurance will not cover my home fridge dying, they will not pay for replacement nor will they cover the food that had spoiled in it.. I am not sure as to why you would have expected the insurance company to cover a RV fridge replacement..
That IS LIFE.
Buy a new fridge and get on with life.. Yeah they are not cheap but that IS the gamble you took with a RV..
Actually, the homeowners policy on our Adirondack cottage does cover refrigerator/freezer food loss subject to the deductible. As I recall, many other HO policies do as well, but I don't know about full time RV'ers insurance.
